Hiking and trekking

Sedimentary layers of sandstone and limestone have settled in the West of the country, forming a series of spectacular barriers. The ruiniform sandstones and fantastical erosions of the Isalo and Makay massifs will evoke "our" Saharan Tassili. The limestone belt, on the other hand, extends from the extreme south to the extreme north of the Big Island.
